This rug was definitely not what I expected. A bit on the cheap looking side, to be honest. I expected a thicker rug (as described) but when it was delivered, I can already tell by looking at it rolled up, that it was going to be really thin. You would think for spending a good amount of money (to some of us, $200 is a lot), that it would be somewhat of a nicer quality. I have no choice but to keep it for now, and look for something better when I can afford it. I would definitely not have purchased it, had I saw it first in a store. I don't think it's even worth half of what I paid. What a bust!!

It's not as soft as some shag rugs I've seen but I love the texture it gives the room. It seems to be very durable, luckily we've had no incidents yet!
