I was worried about purchasing a flokati rug. I thought it would be impractical and difficult to keep clean. For cleaning, I just shake it well outside. There are also instructions for washing that can easily be found online. I have mine in a reading nook. It feels divine under my feet. One of my dogs has claimed it as his own, so it's definitely a favorite item in our home. The rug arrived in perfect condition and was true to the image shown. Also, it was clean. I've read reviews of people who purchased flokati rugs that were filthy with dead insects in them. None of that nonsense here. Highly recommend.

This rug is the most unsightly mess I've ever seen. It looks like it belongs in a bedouin's tent, but I bet even a nomad would throw it out. It comes with instructions on how to fluff it and make it look nice, but absolutely NO amount of brushing or fluffing can redeem it. All the brushing accomplishes is to make it shed. Surely this isn't what a flokati rug is supposed to be. Had I not paid what I did for this rug I'd have considered using it in the dog's kennel, but even he wanted no part of it. Sent it back for a refund. You will, too, if you buy it.

Very hard to determine the quality and true material of this item from the image. Not what I expected when received. Other than that it was great working with Home Decorations. They helped me return the product without any problems and their customer service reps were very helpful.
